People Places & Things | 15 Mar – 18 Jun 2016

Following a critically-acclaimed, sold-out season at the National Theatre, People, Places & Things has transferred to the Wyndham’s Theatre for a limited season until 18 June 2016. This intoxicating new play about surviving life in the modern world stars Olivier Award-winning ‘Best Actress’ Denise Gough in a career-defining performance.

People, Places & Things marks the latest collaboration between Headlong and the National Theatre, written by Duncan Macmillan (1984, Every Brilliant Thing, Lungs) and directed by Jeremy Herrin (The Nether, Wolf Hall/Bringing Up the Bodies).

Emma was having the time of her life. Now she’s in rehab.

Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else. When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up?
