After reading countless applications we are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Edinburgh Young Critics Scheme winners. Daniel Perks, London
I’m a mid-20s Northerner that moved to London a few years ago… It just seemed like an easy decision to come and live in one of the most vibrant and cultured cities in the world. Plus, I love the theatre, so in England there isn’t anywhere else to compare really. I have been writing for A Younger Theatre for the past 3 months and have absolutely loved every second of it – there are so many incredible plays in amazing locations out there that A Younger Theatre is helping me to tap into. When I’m not reviewing the theatre you can most likely find me in a coffee shop or a bar with friends taking full advantage of what London has to offer! I love trying new places and often write about new restaurants or bars I’ve been to online. Tweet: @dperks13
Emily Dunford, Whitchurch
Emily is an English and Theatre student for the University of Warwick. At university she is active in the drama scene and has produced several shows in addition to coordinating the Warwick Student Arts Festival. Her interests in theatre are widespread and she is always on the lookout for stimulating news and criticism. Having previously written for Broadway Baby, Emily is excited to hunt for the gems of the Fringe with A Younger Theatre. Tweet: @ElimyDunrofd
Hannah Margerison, York
Usually found in the darkened hovel of a theatre, Hannah has just finished her A-Levels and enjoys many aspects of performance. She has previously enjoyed reviewing local productions and eagerly awaits a gap year of travelling and a lot of play watching. Tweet: @hannahmarge_
Tamsin Paternoster, Athens
