Fresh Ink (a development program exclusively for emerging screenwriters from marginalised and/or underrepresented backgrounds) is looking for unproduced ideas for feature films at an early stage of development.

Daniel’s Music Foundation exists to empower disabled people through music. The Danny Awards are a global event (hosted in New York but live streamed worldwide) to showcase and recognise the musical talents of individuals with disabilities and they are currently open for musical submissions.

BBC Writersroom TV Drama Writers’ Programme is again open for submissions. Writers must have either at least one professionally produced piece of narrative scriptwriting (which can be TV, radio, film or theatre) or an agent to submit.

Deadline 13th Sept:

BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition is again open for submissions, one for TV Drama, one for Children/Family. There is a fee to submit but bursaries are available.

Deadline 15th Sept:

Cryptic Nights’ annual open call for emerging, Scottish-based artists to develop existing music, sound and digital works within a visual context, with support and mentoring from Cryptic is now open.

Deadline 16th Sept:
