Exploring the rivalry and mutual fascination between Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I, Liz Lochhead’s play re-tells a murky tale of political and sexual intrigue with ferocious wit and innovation.

This production is directed by Robin Norton-Hale, whose version of La Bohème won the 2011 Olivier Award for Best Opera Production.
