Ashley Pearson is a London-based writer and director. She is a staff director with the Olivier award-winning OperaUpClose and wrote the libretto for the company’s Shakespeare inspired opera, Music Oft hath Such a Charm. She holds a Masters in Theatre Directing from East 15 Acting School, and has studied directing at GITIS (Russian University of Theatre Arts) and Seacoast Theatre Centre. Her writing credits include Coverage (Riot Act), The Chairs (Corbett Theatre) and Nerves of the Heart (Quest). Ashley is an Associate Artist with Riot Act, where her previous work includes the Fringe sell-out Coverage.
