Originally trained in text-based theatre at RADA and King’s College London, Alister was co-Artistic Director of Workhorse Productions, a London-based small-scale theatre company. As well as running workshops for fellow professionals, since 2008 Alister has been a visiting lecturer on contemporary performance, devising and performance theory for a variety of programmes at the University of Winchester, where he is a member of the Research Centre for Arts and Wellbeing.
