Opportunity: Free Acts of Resistance devising workshop with Antler Theatre

Acts of Resistance Workshop with Antler Theatre

Date: Wednesday 22 March 2017, 10.30am-5pm
Location: Bush Theatre, Attic

Are you angry? Are you baffled at some of the things going on in the world? Do you not know what to do about it? Come and make something about it. Silly, serious and everything in between, channel your anger/despair/apathy into a piece you can share with an audience.

This workshop is an introduction to making performance with Antler Theatre (Bush Theatre Associate Artists) looking at how you can use art for resistance. It will be an empowering and practical workshop to discover ways of devising theatre for people aged 16-25.

Acts of Resistance is part of an Associate Artist Takeover of the Bush Theatre during the Bush Housewarming week of celebrations (18-25 Mar). The Bush reopens to the public on 18 Mar following a year-long £4.3m redevelopment to transform the building into an accessible modern theatre for the future.

How To Book

The workshop is free but places are limited so please book your place via the Bush Theatre website. RSVP by 20 Mar 2017.
