Attic Theatre Company’s must-see production of Great Expectations is transforming Wimbledon Library this Christmas.

This December, Wimbledon Library becomes Satis House, home to Miss Havisham, Charles Dickens’ ghostly bride. Attic Theatre Company bring Dickens’ classic tale of romance, ruthless ambition and revenge to Merton Arts Space, the library’s brand new arts centre in the heart of Wimbledon.

This production of Great Expectations is the London premiere of the adaptation by Theresa Heskins (Artistic Director of the New Vic Theatre, Staffordshire) and follows on from the success of Attic Theatre’s last production – Beacons – at the Park Theatre. Beacons received excellent reviews and three Off West End nominations (Best New Play, Most Promising New Playwright and Best Male Performance).
