Ladies and gentleman, wilkommen to EastEnd Cabaret – an evening of scintillating sexiness that forever quivers on the wrong side of risqué. Join the dangerously kinky Bernadette Byrne, a temptress of shockingly sordid tales, and the hermaphrodite multi-instrumentalist, Victor Victoria, as they unleash an evening of sultry sophistication, belly-aching comedy and heavily indulgent naughtiness.

After playing to wowed and jaw-dropped audiences at last year’s Free Fringe, EastEnd Cabaret have this year hit the main stage in the darkened enclave of the Underbelly. In this secluded and evocative setting, Bernadette and Victor begin to recount their most eye-popping experiences, revelling in the bawdy and crude with a strangely unfathomable elegance. With barely a breathing space between the stories of sex and salaciousness, it is imperative that audience members leave their dignity and sense of seriousness back at home.

Unashamed to drag in audience participants (be warned to choose your seats very carefully) and featuring classic cabaret songs, EastEnd Cabaret very quickly seduces its entire audience, transforming the lot into adoring, clapping and foot-stamping fans, crying out for more.

With wonderfully witty lyrics and crowd-pleasing tunes, the romping cabaret songs spark up a sizzling atmosphere that will immediately cure the worst of moods. Also incredibly talented musicians in their own right, this comedy duo will leave you dancing out of the show chanting cheeky drinking songs and dying to slip into a feathered black cat-suit.

Whilst perhaps not to all tastes, EastEnd Cabaret is definitely a real revelation and an exciting discovery for cabaret aficionados and newbies alike.
