Watford Palace launches new discounted ticket scheme for 16-25s
Watford Palace Theatre announces the launch of Rumour, a new discounted ticket scheme for 16-25 year olds. Rumour is a free membership scheme for anyone aged 16-25, and offers a range of benefits and discounts.
Rumour members can buy tickets to shows at Watford Palace Theatre on Tuesday nights for just £5; can see any film, at any time, for just £4 (£5 for 3D); and receive a 20% discount in the Palace’s Cafe & Bar at all times. Members will also have the opportunity to showcase their talents at open mic nights, be invited to special event nights and receive eNewsletters about events in the local area.
This season, Rumour members can book £5 tickets for a huge variety of performances, including: LOL from Protein Dance; Wasted from Paines Plough; Dennis Kelly’s DNA by Hull Truck, and world premiere plays including Our Brother David by Anthony Clark.
Watford Palace’s Audience Development Officer, Mellissa Flowerdew-Clarke, says, “Rumour is the first scheme of its kind in Hertfordshire, and has been created in collaboration with young people from the local community. There really are no catches – it’s free to join and offers great discounts on film and theatre. Every young person in Watford should have one!”
Membership is completely free. To join Rumour all you need to do is visit www.watfordrumour.com or bring a valid ID to the Box Office at Watford Palace Theatre.
