SLAMbassadors is the Poetry Society’s slam poetry competition for under-18s, and eight winners have been chosen from over 400 entries. They will be launching their professional careers at the world-famous 100 Club on London’s Oxford Street alongside their mentors and judges of the competition: Joelle Taylor, who was interviewed by AYT in February, Dizraeli of music group Dizraeli and the Small Gods, and Chris Preddie OBE.
If it sounds like your kind of thing, email Eleanor on email@example.com before noon on Friday 30 March. There are 20 free tickets, on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is at 7pm on Sunday 1 April at the 100 Club on Oxford Street, doors open at 6.30pm.
