The Chair Plays
By Edward Bond

Following the success of Saved last October, the Lyric presents the UK premiere of Edward Bond’s The Chair Plays.

Domestic family life struggles to survive in a world of fleeing refugees, mass suicides, ruined and deserted suburbs, and soldiers patrolling the streets. Authority decrees even the exact placing of furniture in rooms. How can we still be human in a society where even the offer of a chair to a tired stranger can lead to catastrophe?

See the double bill of Have I None, directed by Sean Holmes, and The Under Room, directed by Edward Bond himself, for the special rate of £7.50 from 20 – 28 April only (excluding 23 Apr). That’s an amazing 50% discount! Limited availability – available on a first come, first served basis.

Call the box office on 0871 22 117 29* or visit the Lyric’s website and quote ‘AYT’.

Tickets normally £15.
