Football and Theatre? Seems like a strange mix if you ask us, but Fit and Proper People, a new play by Georgia Fitch at the Soho Theatre in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company looks like it might win over even the non-football fans. They’re turning the Soho Theatre until a stadium, complete with flood lights, turf and running commentary of the game (or play?)… now that is worth watching.

As a reader of A Younger Theatre you can get tickets for £5 (normally £10) during the previews. All the details are below, so get booking.

Fit and Proper People in association with the RSC at Soho Theatre
Fri 7 Oct – Sat 5 Nov, 7.30pm

In association with the RSC, for four weeks only, we’ll be transforming the theatre into a football stadium with real turf, floodlights and constant media coverage for 90 minutes of spectacular theatrical entertainment.

Inspired by real footballing events, Fit and Proper People exposes the backstage dealings that manufacture our national heroes, and addresses the very topical question of who is running our social and cultural institutions. And how they run them.

50% off £10 tickets for A Younger Theatre readers for performances Fri 7 – Tue 11 October, 7.30pm
