Alex has his flat. His home. He’s building a life with Clare. Nothing can derail his happiness, not even their Tom Cruise obsessed neighbour, who is always coming round. He just wishes those kids would stop hanging round outside his house. But they’re just kids, with nothing to do. They’re not dangerous, right?

From Bruntwood Award winning playwright Matt Hartley and the creative team behind the award-winning Floyd Collins (Southwark Playhouse), comes a thrilling new play starring Philip McGinley (Game of Thrones).

Darkly comic Microcosm explores the clash of two different worlds, when new home-owner Alex seeks to protect his own. Questioning whether it would be better to turn the other cheek or intervene Microcosm is a tense Hitcockian thriller, expertly directed by Derek Bond (Floyd Collins Southwark Playhouse, Lost in Yonkers Watford Palace, Many Moons Theatre503).

Jenny Rainsford is reunited with Philip McGinley following critical acclaim for their performances in Straight (Bush/Sheffield). They are joined by John Lightbody (The Musketeers BBC) and Christopher Brandon (50 Ways to Leave Your Lover The Bush).

Microcosm is running at Soho Theatre until 25 May. Tuesday – Sunday at 19.15, Saturday Matinees at 2.45pm. Tickets £15 (£12.50).
