Little Angel Theatre, the “home of British Puppetry” have a few internships available starting in February 2011. One of the Internships is a new position working closely with the Tour Producer as an Assistant in administration and development of tour operations for Little Angel’s shows on tour.

As one of few purpose built puppetry theatres within the UK, the Little Angel is a small but thriving theatre operating in the heart of the Islington community. 2011 is the theatres 50th Anniversairy so these Internships will be working during a busy and exciting period. for the company.

Marketing/Admin Internship
This internship will be working closely with the General Manager and Marketing Officer in the assistance of administration and marketing tasks for the theatre. The internships is for 2 days a week (Mon/Tue), for 3 months, unpaid.

You will be expected to assist in a variety of tasks including:
– General Administration
– Marketing, including social media campaigns
– Box Office support
– Operating as the point of contact for all enquiries on the ‘info@’ email account
– Assisting in research for funding applications
– Database and Mailing List support/maintenance
– Front of house displays
– And other ad hoc tasks, including project based work led by the General Manager

Tour Producer Assistant (Internship)
This internship will be working closely with the Tour Producer in the assisting as required of tour operations for Little Angel shows. The internships is for 1 days a week (Fri), for ideally 6 months, beginning in February.

Tasks include:
– Administration tasks
– Updating and maintaining touring database
– Assist in distribution of publicity material
– Support both Tour Producer and other staff members as required
– Gain key experience in tour management.
