There are of course numerous places that young writers can send their scripts for selection of performance, be it competitions, bursaries or just for feedback. Pulse however is an exciting new initiative launched by Blackeyed Theatre in the hope of developing new the work of a new writer, with the intention of having the play performed professional by at South Hill Park in Bracknell Park and at the London Fringe in 2012.
To apply for Pulse all you have to do is submit an outline of the play you wish to develop or have previously written (but as yet has not been performed) to Blackeyed Theatre before the deadline of 13th May 2011. If selected you will be required to submit a full draft of the play in June.
